Kurt brings years of diverse investment research and finance experience to the First Bankers Trust team. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Bellarmine University with a double major in Finance and Economics and a minor in Accounting. Kurt started his career in fixed income and asset allocation roles for the KY State Government. From there he transitioned to equity research at Hillard Lyons and also worked in startup and large corporate finance roles prior to his time here at FBT. Kurt also holds the CFA designation and previously held several different roles on the Board of the CFA Society of Louisville. He currently sits on the Board of the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, Kurt enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and attempting to play golf.
